The Match Problem
In matches players constantly face the same moment:
attack the defender or release the ball.
Many players rush the decision and pass immediately to avoid losing possession.
But every team has players who can carry through pressure and break defensive lines.
This programme helps players develop that role.
What Players Learn
Players practise how to:
✔ Carry into space under pressure
✔ Eliminate the first defender
✔ Attack the space after the elimination
✔ Create attacking advantages for teammates
Visible match changes often include:
-
confident forward carries
-
defenders beaten 1v1
-
better attacking momentum
Once players know how to beat the first defender, the game often feels simpler and calmer.
How the Intensive Works
Across the three sessions, players repeatedly practise the key attacking sequence:
Carry → Eliminate → Attack Space → Create Overload
Because this moment is repeated many times, players can rebuild their response when pressure arrives.
What Players Leave With
Players leave with:
✔ 2–3 reliable elimination techniques
✔ A clear cue for when to attack space
✔ Confidence carrying past the first defender
Skills that can be used immediately in matches.
Learning Environment
Places are capped so players experience repeated attacking situations in each session.
Smaller groups mean:
-
more ball contact
-
more elimination opportunities
-
more coaching feedback
