Week 1-3
Attack The Space
Forward Movement Sprint
The Match Moment
In matches, they’re close to goal - but always on the defender’s shoulder, never in front - so they never get the first touch.
They’re there. But not free.
What This Sprint Builds
-
Double movement (one for the defender, one for the ball)
-
Creating separation inside the circle
-
Attacking near and far post
-
Timing leads before the pass arrives
The Outcome
Become the forward who gets in front and gets the first touch - not the one who almost does.
Week 4-6
Trap & Finish
Forward Two-Touch Finishing Sprint
The Match Moment
In matches, they trap the ball to control it - instead of trapping it to shoot - so defenders recover before the shot goes.
Three touches. Chance gone.
What This Sprint Builds
-
Trap to shoot, not trap to stop
-
First touch into available space
-
Two-touch maximum finishing
-
Body movement instead of extra touches
The Outcome
Become the forward who decides games - the one who takes one touch and buries it.
